    The first day of the TUNRA Bulk Solids Storage and Handling short-course has ended with an exciting tour of TBS’s comprehensive laboratory facilities, located at the NIER site, University of Newcastle. The 16 delegates were accompanied by TUNRA’s General Manager, Dr Timothy Donohue, TBS Laboratory Manager, Eric Brooker and TBS Consulting Engineers. The course will continue for the next two days with sessions on belt conveying, transfer chutes, dust, bin and stockpile design, silo wall loads and quaking, feeders and discharge.
