Towards Higher Standard Bulk Density Testing – ASBSH Presentation

The Australian Society for Bulk Solids Handling (ASBSH) in conjunction with TUNRA Bulk Solids, has put together a webinar with a focus on bulk density. The technical event, presented by Dr Jens Plinke, consisted of an overview of current testing standards and possible areas of improvement, including methods to enable testing of large particle sizes under the high pressures needed for stockpile mass reconciliation.

Topics include: bulk density vs compressibility; applications of bulk density: mass reconciliation and design of storage and handling equipment; sampling considerations; current bulk density testing standards and improvements towards better testing.
