TUNRA Bulk Solids’ Consulting Engineer appointed Chair of Australian Standard Committee

TUNRA Bulk Solids’ Consulting Engineer Dr Jayne O’Shea has recently been appointed Chair of the AS1333-1994 committee. The standard, titled “Conveyor Belting of Elastomeric and Steel Cord Construction”, specifies requirements for conveyor belting of elastomeric materials and steel cord construction in which the carcass is composed of a plane of steel cords with or without supplementary reinforcements. The committee is working on a new project, which kicked off in February 2022.
