    TUNRA Bulk Solids is incredibly proud to announce that Dr Jayne Oโ€™Shea, Operations Manager and Senior Consulting Engineer at TUNRA Bulk Solids, has won the 2026 ๐–๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ค ๐‡๐š๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐. The award was presented at the ๐€๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ค ๐‡๐š๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐๐ฌ in Melbourne.

    Jayne has made a significant contribution to the bulk solids handling industry over more than two decades. Since joining TUNRA Bulk Solids in 2005, she has developed extensive expertise across bulk material characterisation, experimental testing, belt conveying, scale and theoretical modelling, and Discrete Element Method (DEM) simulation. Her work has contributed to more than 100 projects across Australia and internationally, covering a diverse range of bulk materials and applications.

    In 2021, Jayne was appointed Chair of the ๐‘๐”-002 ๐€๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ง ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ง๐๐š๐ซ๐๐ฌ committee, further contributing to the development of bulk solids and materials handling field in Australia.

    Jayne’s contribution to the industry extends beyond project work through her ๐ข๐ง๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก, ๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐ž๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐๐š๐ซ๐๐ฌ. Jayne is also a passionate contributor to the next generation of bulk solids professionals through her involvement in TUNRA Bulk Solids’ training and knowledge-sharing activities.

    This award recognises not only Jayneโ€™s technical expertise, but also her longstanding contribution to the people, knowledge and practice of bulk solids handling.
    The Australian Bulk Handling Awards is the only Awards program specifically for the bulk solids handling industry.
