    Emeritus Prof Alan Roberts is a pioneer in the field of bulk solids, he has been finding solutions for industries in Australia and around the globe for over 70 years, and at 96, he’s not slowing down. He has just released his book “The Theory and Practice of Bulk Materials Handling.” The book reflects a lifetime of dedication to the field of bulk solids handling, it introduces and explains the fundamental concepts used for the design and optimisation of materials handling systems, summarises bulk solid flow properties and key test methods for determining quantitative parameters and includes industrial case studies on bulk handling design and performance.
