Design of Bulk Solids Handling Equipment

On behalf of the ASBSH, TUNRA’s Technical Director, Dr Bin Chen presented a webinar on Design of Bulk Solids Handling Equipment. The presentation focused on the importance of designing silos and stockpiles tailored to the specific bulk materials being handled. It emphasized how failing to account for the flow properties of materials and operational conditions can lead to significant issues, including costly downtime and safety hazards. By exploring real-world case studies, the webinar  demonstrates common design pitfalls and provides actionable insights on how to avoid these issues in future projects.
