Materials Calibration for DEM simulation of bulk solids, with Dr. Daniel Grasser, TUNRA Bulk Solids & LEAP Australia

Discrete Element Method (DEM) simulations are an incredibly useful virtual tool to predict the behaviour of a bulk solid. However, it is necessary to calibrate and experimentally validate your simulations with a set of material tests that represent a comprehensive set of flow regimes. In addition, the abrasive wear of equipment can be predicted when the model is calibrated based on experimentally obtained wear rates. Join Dr. Daniel Grasser from TUNRA in a joint webinar, hosted by LEAP Australia, on 18th September at 1:00 pm to discuss recommendations and best practices on materials calibration for DEM simulation of bulk solids.
