The course was led by Emeritus Professor Alan Roberts, who has combined a glittering academic career and the publication of seminal technical papers with an almost uncanny ability to solve industry problems. Over his career, Emeritus Professor Alan Roberts has published five design manuals and over 350 research papers on various aspects of bulk solids handling, all the while working to build the research and consulting capabilities of TUNRA Bulk Solids.

The course was held onsite at The University of Newcastle’s NIER precinct, where TUNRA Bulk Solids is located. This was a great opportunity for delegates to see TBS’ comprehensive laboratory and test facilities, which overall made the course a great success.
